Sadly, I am back at work. Though, I do have what seems to be a wonderful group of students this year. I know it has only been seven days with kids, but they have been great so far. So, since I have been working, and the girls are back in school, I have been uber busy.
But, I rock because I have cooked dinner (with help from the hubby) every night this week. Yay me :)
I don't want to talk about the fact that both of my girls are in "real" school this year. It makes my heart hurt to watch them walk from my car and into the building every morning. They are so cute holding hands, but all I can think about is them walking away into a place where I cannot be there all the time to protect them. Of course, they both LOVE school, so I guess I should be happy for them, even if my heart breaks a little each day.
But, on a lighter note, my husband told me a cute story about the girls the other day, and said he told me because it sounded like something I would blog about. I'm not sure how he knew that, because I don't think he reads my blog, but maybe he just knows me that well. This conversation occurred when he picked the girls up from school and they were on the way home.
Lauren- I really wish it was Thanksgiving (no idea why she said this).
Allison- So we can tell everyone thank you.
Husband- That's not really what Thanksgiving is about. Thanksgiving is when we tell God thank you for all of the things He has done for us.
Lauren- I'm thankful God gave me a little sister.
See, sometimes they do love each other :)
I'm glad the school year is going well so far.
That is the cutest conversation.

What a sweet story. Moments like that make the hair pulling moments worth it.

Yep, definitely have to record that conversation as proof.
